I am pleased to present this diverse and insightful collection of scholarly works, ZAJESE Volume 6, Number 1, that reflects the vibrancy and richness of research in Nigeria and beyond. This volume underscores the commitment to advancing knowledge on pressing socio-economic, educational, health, and technological issues facing our society today.
The articles encompass a broad spectrum of topics, from demographic shifts and their socioeconomic implications, as explored in Navigating the Challenges of Population Ageing in Nigeria, to innovative investigations into agricultural practices, educational methodologies, and health-related interventions. Notably, contributions such as Effect of Eight-Week Walking Programme and Perceived Factors Influencing Exercise Activity, highlight the growing interest in promoting health and wellness among Nigerians.
Furthermore, this volume features critical analyses of educational and social dynamics, including teacher motivation, parental influence on career choices, and integrating of media and digital resources in teaching and learning processes. These studies exemplify the ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and societal development. It also recognises the importance of interdisciplinary research, demonstrated by studies that delve into language acquisition, chemistry curriculum implementation, and nano-fluid properties, demonstrating the multifaceted nature of contemporary research.
